I knew he was in doubt. I’m not a word person. But that morning, as I lay beside him in bed, I felt a sudden need to hear him say he loved me. So I asked. And he answered me back with the same kind of question.
Isn’t that one of the saddest things that could happen to you? I know I did not tell him enough how I felt, but I imagined I made up for the lack through my actions. I guess even that was not enough for him to believe.
